This renovated townhouse offers a modern take on Kyoto's traditional design. One step into Yuzunoe, and you'll be greeted by a sky-high ceiling that is constructed with large wooden beams and bamboo komai clay walls, which retain the atmosphere of a quintessential Kyoto-style townhouse. The ceiling is lit by a skylight that brightens the room with natural light, allowing you to appreciate the ever-changing expression of this townhouse throughout the day.
